B’More Made with Pride, LLC Commercial Kitchen:

Whether its daily production runs or one time catering events, we have the space. A shared-use facility rented out by the hour, B’More Made with Pride Kitchen is a place where food producers can legally prepare, process, cook and store perishables. It is a fully equipped, licensed facility for catering, food preparation, and specialty food production.

Located at 6615 Harford Road- Baltimore, Maryland 21214. B’More Made with Pride Kitchen is a 1200 sq. ft. state licensed available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Available shifts are 6 A.M.- 12 P.M./ 12 P.M. -6 P 12 A.M. Midnight – 6 A.M. is available for an extra small fee.  Our space includes ample prep area, large walk in refrigerator, freezer and pantry area. 


A quick summary of our equipment is listed below. We ask our clients to bring small wares such as disposable items (plastic wrap, foil, sheet pan liners, etc.).

Feel free to bring your own pots and pans or use ours. We can accommodate a wide range of needs, and support growing businesses.

RESERVING THE KITCHEN

We handle booking by accepting reservations for the current and next calendar month.    User shall request use of the Kitchen one week in advance.  B’More Made with Pride will make its best efforts to create a schedule for use of the Kitchen that accommodates all Users’ reasonable requests. Priority is given to standing reservations, allowing our clients to establish a regular schedule. New and additional reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Caterers, Bakers, Specialty Food Producers

We recommend that all prospective kitchen clients begin by contacting us to schedule a tour of the kitchen. We will be happy to show you around and explain how everything works. Please view our rates. The team at B’More Made with Pride Kitchen, LLC Commercial Kitchen understands what goes into owning and operating a food business, and we are here to help. The following list will help get you started.

1) Schedule a tour of our kitchen by contacting Shannon P Jones

2) Review and complete the Policy Guide & Facility User Agreement and fill out a Kitchen Application complete with a ($35) application fee.

3) You will also need to submit a Food Processor Application to The Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

4) Submit Certificate of Insurance (COI).

We require all our clients to have general liability insurance with your policy listing B’More Made with Pride, LLC as "Additional Insured".

5) Pay your appropriate kitchen fee.

6) Pay your Security Deposit of $100.

The security deposit is fully refundable after your contract term with B”More Made with Pride Kitchen, LLC Commercial Kitchen ends.

B’More Made with Pride, LLC Commercial Kitchen Early Bird rates:
Available shifts are 6 A.M.- 12 P.M./ 12 P.M. -6 P.M. and 6 P.M.- 12 A.M.
Midnight – 6 A.M. is available for an extra $10.   


Non cooking kitchen rental

$55 per hour

$100 deposit

This plan is for non-food permits. Culinary professional may rent the kitchen for classes, instruction or demonstrations including television spots.

Your security deposit will be returned 2 days after your event.

$600 monthly rate

(not to exceed 50 hours)

$720 monthly rate
3 month lease required
$18/ hour
$100 deposit +1 month rent
Dry & cold single shelf storage included.


STORAGE

Dry and Cold Storage combo- Single shelf/ $50 per month

Dry or cold storage- Single Shelf/ $30 per month

Childcare while you cook /not to exceed 5 hours $10 per hour

Storage is only included for those clients who use more than 10 hours per month in Prep or Kitchen Space. Storage may be handled on a case-by-case basis, depending on availability, kitchen usage, and other factors.


Event fee or Exclusive rental fee
The kitchen can be reserved for special events or occupied exclusively, there is a fee of $55 per hour plus a security deposit of $100 (4 hour minimum). The security deposit will be returned two days after your event. Artisans who currently rent with B’More Made with Pride, LLC Commercial Kitchen do not have to pay the security deposit to host an event.


Clocking In
Upon entering and exiting the Kitchen, all users are required to clock in and out when using the Kitchen.  Failure to accurately sign in an out may result in the User being denied use of the facility


Cleaning & Supplies
Each User is responsible for cleaning the kitchen as part of their kitchen use including all equipment, tables, and floors wiping out sinks or anything else that you see needs attention. Empty trash containers in the main facility trashcan with lid at the end of your day. Please make sure to allow cleaning time in your reserved kitchen time.  We will supply all the necessary cleaning supplies and will take care of regularly scheduled cleanings.


Cancellations
Cancellations of Kitchen use must be received as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours in advance.  Repeated cancellations may result in the User being denied use of the facility.


No Shows
If no cancellation notice is received 24 hours in advance of schedule kitchen time, and another User has been denied access due to that prior reservation, then the “no- show” User will be charged the fee for that day according to your contract.


Overtime Fees: 
Users will be charged overtime fees for use of the Facilities beyond the reserved time at the highest hourly rate for the time slot. In the event that B’More Made with Pride, LLC Commercial Kitchen is unable to reasonably accommodate Client's request for such additional time, Client shall adjust its use to allow for cleanup of its’ designated space within the time allotted to Client so that Client does not interfere with the next scheduled use. Payment of overtime fees is due immediately upon receipt of B’More Made with Pride, LLC invoice, and if not immediately paid, will be deducted from the Client's Security Deposit. Credit Card Authorization forms are required for all clients and hours are billed as soon as they are used.


Dry Storage
If not included in your contract, fees are charged on a monthly basis payable in advance with your rent.  All items must be clearly identified and labeled with the User’s name.  Opened food items must be stored tightly in covered Labeled container.  All items must be on your assigned shelf.  The Kitchen will provide large storing containers for you to place you products in before you place them on your assigned shelf.  Please be sure to label your storing container as well as your shelf.


Cooler Storage
All items must be clearly identified, labeled, and dated with the User’s name.  Food items must be stored in tightly covered containers.  The Kitchen will provide a large container for all of your items.  Be sure to keep in mind sanitation guidelines that dictate raw meats on bottom shelves.  You are also reminded that you must clean and sanitize your storage area at least once a week. Notify the kitchen manager immediately if there are any spills inside the walk-in.


Facility Failure
In the event of equipment failure or other facility issues that compromise production, no charge will be made for lost hours.  Users must make the Kitchen manager aware and fill out a Facility Incident Report immediately.


Eligible User
Only those users and their employees that are registered and authorized by the Kitchen Manager are allowed to be in the production areas.  Each employee/helper must have been trained and received a copy of these guidelines.


No Children under 16 are allowed in the kitchen area when food processing is taking place.  No unsupervised children are allowed in the facility at any time.


Children

Childcare while you cook for children 6 months-10 up to 5 hours for $10 per hour.  Your children will have supervised care in the lounge. You must be on the premises at all times.


Kitchen Property
No equipment or other items belonging to the Kitchen is ever allowed to leave the premises.

No Live Animals are allowed inside the building at any time.

No Smoking in or around the facility at any time. 

No eating or drinking from open containers is allowed in the food production area.  Only drinks in covered containers are allowed in the food production areas and must be kept on lower shelves, below any food items.
